Project Overview
Ethix Investment Mobile App is a personal project aimed at revolutionizing the way individuals invest by combining finance with purpose. The primary goal was to create an MVP that would serve as a powerful tool for users to invest in charity projects aligned with their values.
MVP Features We Added:
Minimalist Visuals: Designed a visually appealing and emotionally engaging interface using minimalist illustrations that convey the essence of each charity project.
Comprehensive UI Kit: Developed a UI kit comprising over 120 meticulously designed screens in both light and dark modes, ensuring a consistent and immersive user experience.
User-Centric Flows: Crafted intuitive user flows to guide users seamlessly through onboarding, project discovery, investment processes, and portfolio management.
Transparent Reporting: Implemented transparent reporting features, allowing users to track the growth of planted trees, carbon sequestration, biodiversity enhancement, and other measurable outcomes.
Results

Design Process
Competitive analysis
To ensure Ethix Investment stands out in the market, I conducted a competitive analysis that included researching similar apps such as Zulu Forest and Pachama. This analysis helped identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
User Flow
Creating a simple and user-friendly user flow was paramount. I conducted extensive user testing and feedback sessions to refine the app's navigation. The goal was to ensure that anyone who wants to invest can access their desired screen quickly and effortlessly, from onboarding to project selection and investment.
UI Screens
To achieve an eye-catching and minimalistic visual design, I focused on the following:
Figma Variables Design System: Developed a comprehensive design system that included a set of easily adjustable color variables, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in maintaining the app's visual consistency.
Minimalist Illustrations: Integrated minimalist illustrations that evoke emotions and convey the essence of each charity project, making the investment process engaging and memorable.
Light and Dark Modes: Implemented both light and dark modes to enhance user experience and cater to individual preferences.
